As filmmakers, when we’re shooting a wedding, whether it be photos or videos, we don’t want to just document your day. We want to capture the emotion, the atmosphere and the meaning of your story. We use our talents as filmmakers to create cinematic wedding videos and photos
Like us, Richard is a filmmaker. In fact, we’ve worked with him on projects in the past. So it was both a great honour that we asked us, but it was also a lot of pressure just to get it right, but fortunately we did. Richard and Carolina wanted their wedding day to be cinematic, classy and cool. From the fast Lamborghini to the grand cathedral and Le Montage, the classy reception venue, it sure did feel like a film.
But of course, to get the perfect cinematic shot, we need time. You don’t want to rush it. Fortunately, since Richard is a filmmaker, he knew that and gave us a lot of room on his schedule to get the shots we need. However, Richard is such a relaxed easy guy it was infectious, and soon we were all running late at the groom prep. Meanwhile, at Carolina’s family house, everything was running to plan. It then became clear to me that it was Carolina who has actually the organised one and who had done the schedule!
And check out the awesome entertainment they had at their reception. It was so fun and unique. Not many couples have burlesque and fire dancing at their wedding reception. It’s just one of those things that make Richard and Carolina special.
