Krista came from halfway around the world to meet Andrew, and no wonder she took that journey because what a perfect couple they make. Krista is just beautiful, and while I don’t think many men could pull off a pink suit on their wedding day, for Andrew it’s just perfect. But even though she moved half way around the world, Krista still cares very deeply about her family back home . Just check out the great father-daughter photo-shoot we had.

While I think that I’m a bit more well known for my wedding videos, there’s just something I love about doing wedding photography. Of course, there is a lot less equipment when doing wedding photography than wedding videography, so that might be it too!

I love doing pre-wedding photoshoots. They’re great fun, and I get the best photos. Sure, we have photoshoots on the wedding day, but oftentimes it’s a lot more rushed because there’s so much going on. With a pre-wedding photoshoot, it’s a lot more relaxed and you don’t have that pressure, so you’re able to take the time to get that perfect shot. And you also get to go to locations that you might not have had time to go to on the wedding day.

But also pre-wedding photo-shoots are a great way for me to get to know the couple. While a meeting before the wedding day is good, working with them on a pre-wedding photoshoot takes it to the next level. It’s an opportunity for me to figure out the best way of working with you, because everyone is different, and for you to get to know my style better. I find that it makes the couple much more comfortable on the day. And that means better photos for you.

There are many elements that make for a great wedding video or wedding photo. But I think the most important element is the couple’s personality. So when I was contacted by someone as fun, loving and enthusiastic as Amy and Jordan, I just jumped at the chance to shoot them.

When I got to the Crowne Plaza at Hawkesbury Valley, I found Jordan running around at the last minute trying to get everything perfect. The effort was well worth it. It turned out beyond perfect. I never seen a groom react so enthusiastically, he actually cried sobbing when he saw Amy walking down the aisle. I can see why, Amy is such a gem. Their silliness is second to none at the photo-shoot, we were tired from laughing so hard! Thanks for letting us film your special day, it was truly memorable.

From the moment I met this couple I knew that they were something special. I just couldn’t wait to film their wedding video for their wedding day. And what a beautiful classy wedding they had, held right in the heart of Sydney. They had a great wedding reception too, that included all the guest, with guessing games and a great dance floor. But the highlight was that amazing first dance. That was incredible, and was the highlight of the wedding highlight video for me. So thank you Carmen and Aidan for making our day so memorable and allowing us to film such a beautiful event.

This video is just a short excerpt from Carmen and Aidan’s wedding highlight video. Of course we filmed a full wedding highlight video for them, which included their tea ceremony. We love making wedding videos for same love weddings. They are just so joyful and fun and there was no more a fun wedding than Ryan and Scott’s wedding day.

When I talked to Ryan and Scott before the wedding day, I found out that what’s really important to both Ryan and Scott is story. Every part of their wedding has a meaning to it. It wasn’t just there because it looked good but also because there was significance, a story behind it. And that’s something that must be reflected in the wedding highlight video. So this was very important to Ryan and Scott, and as you can see in our wedding videos and wedding photos, that’s something we believe too. At the end of the day, our wedding highlight videos are telling a story. Your story. And because of that, they picked us to film their wedding video.

We love creating wedding videos and wedding photos for same-sex weddings because it’s truly great to celebrate all love. And you can just see how much Jessica and Yadira love each other in their wedding video because what beautiful and heartfelt vows did they both have. You can just feel how deep a connection they have because of how much they care for each other. You can see how much getting good audio of the vows can really make for a powerful wedding video. It’s why I have so many audio recording devices!

We’ve shot weddings on many amazing beaches, but I do love this little beach that’s basically in the backyard of Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach. It’s perfect for any South Coast or Sydney wedding. Austinmer Beach looks so pretty, particularly at sunset. It’s one of the upsides of having a wedding before daylight savings starts. You can catch the beautiful colours of the sunset.

Every couple and every love is special in their own way. For this reason, we always want to make sure that our wedding video and wedding photos match the unique personality and style of the couple.

Sam and Zach are just such a fun couple, and they had their own unique style. And because of that it makes for such a unique and special wedding video suited for just them. At the wedding ceremony, instead of boutonnière, they had seashells pinned to the lapel of their jackets. Instead of bouquets, the bridesmaids carried down lanterns. They had their own unique wedding vows, and at the wedding reception their own unique first dance. Not only did it make for a great wedding video, but we had such a great time. Let’s do the time warp again indeed.

While many people travel interstate or overseas for a location wedding, don’t forget that Sydney is a great location for weddings. Not just for locals but for international couples from all over the world. It remains a world class destination, with spectacular weather and views, perfect for wedding photos and wedding videos.

Tee and Gee were one such couple. They were having their main wedding ceremony and wedding reception in Thailand. But they were coming all the way from Thailand to Sydney just to have their pre-wedding photos. This was because they were quite familiar and connected with Sydney, having studied here in the past. For this reason they wanted to fly to Sydney, just to get some pre-wedding photos. They wanted to get those special locations that you could only get in Sydney, and there is no place in Sydney more spectacular than the Sydney Opera House. And it would also make for some spectacular photos to show at the wedding ceremony and wedding reception. What they didn’t realise when they contacted us was that one of our co-founders is Thai too. This made the whole process so much easier for them and us.

Even though their stay here in Sydney was short, we had such a great time with Tee and Gam. So congratulations to Tee and Gam. We wish them all the best in their married life ahead. And thank you for choosing Thez Weddings

I met Elizabeth and Simon through their wedding photographer Chris Little. It’s always a delight to get a couple through one of our photographer friends because you know it’s going to be a great time and you’re going to make a great wedding video. This was a last-minute decision for Elizabeth and Simon, they booked me only a month out. Usually, I’m already booked out when it’s only a month from the wedding date, but fortunately, I had an opening available. And as soon as I met them, I instantly knew I had to book them.

Elizabeth and Simon are such a classy couple and it really shows in the wedding video. And it’s really complimented by the beautiful coastline of Sydney’s Northern Beaches because it’s a location that just fits them. And while the first dance was the highlight of the day, the amazing father and daughter dance gave it a fierce competition. It truly shows how deep a connection that a father and his daughter can have.
